Telehealth / Online Therapy

I offer therapy via secure online video sessions, allowing you to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own space.

Telehealth provides a flexible and convenient way to access psychological support without the need to travel. Whether you live in a regional area, have a busy schedule, are managing health concerns, or simply prefer meeting online, telehealth can make therapy more accessible.

Many clients are surprised by how natural and effective online therapy can feel. Research has consistently found that telehealth can be just as effective as in-person therapy for many psychological concerns.

Who Might Benefit from Telehealth?

Telehealth can be particularly helpful for:

  • People living in regional or remote areas

  • Busy professionals

  • Parents balancing work and family commitments

  • People with health conditions or mobility challenges

  • Humanitarian aid workers and overseas workers

  • Australians living interstate

  • People who feel more comfortable accessing therapy from home

Some clients also find it easier to discuss difficult topics from a familiar environment where they feel safe and comfortable.

Areas of Support

Telehealth appointments are available for many of the same concerns as in-person therapy, including:

  • Anxiety and stress

  • Depression and low mood

  • Trauma and complex trauma

  • Child sexual abuse recovery

  • Grief and loss

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Parenting concerns

  • Neurodivergence, including ADHD and autism

  • Humanitarian, overseas, and mission-related stressors

  • Life transitions and adjustment difficulties

EMDR via Telehealth

Many people are surprised to learn that EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) can be delivered effectively online.

Using secure video technology and adapted forms of bilateral stimulation, EMDR can be conducted via telehealth for many clients. Some people even find it helpful to engage in trauma therapy from the comfort and familiarity of their own environment.

Whether EMDR is offered online or in person will depend on your individual needs, circumstances, and treatment goals.

Clients Located Overseas

Telehealth services are primarily offered within Australia.

In some circumstances, I may be able to work with clients who are living or working overseas, including humanitarian workers, missionaries, and expatriates. This depends on the country you are located in and relevant professional and legal requirements.

Please get in touch if you would like to discuss whether telehealth may be available in your circumstances.
